T20 Mumbai League: Arjun Tendulkar hit a six and won like Kohli, Shreyas Iyer’s team lost

The IPL 2026 season passed almost in anonymity for Arjun Tendulkar. Arjun, who was a part of Lucknow Super Giants this season, had to wait a long time for his turn in the league stage. When the team was eliminated, he got a chance in the last match. He may have been sitting on the bench in IPL but in the very first match of T20 Mumbai League, he became a part of the playing-11 and returned after scoring a six and leading the team to victory. Arjun made a small but important contribution with ball and bat in this match.

Arjun won by hitting a six

Arjun Tendulkar, while playing for Andheri team captained by Shivam Dubey in this league, sobo falcons Took one wicket against and then scored a six in the end to give victory to the team. In the match played at Wankhede Stadium, Falcons under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer were bundled out for just 126 runs. After this it was his turn to make some contribution with the bat and in this he did not have to do much. The top and middle order of the team had done almost the entire work. But in the 14th over, the 5th wicket fell at the score of 119 runs and Arjun entered. He took 1 run on his first ball. Then he returned on strike on the last ball of the over and then finished the match in the style of Virat Kohli’s IPL final. Arjun hit a six on this ball and took the team to the target. Andheri won the match by 5 wickets.

Iyer’s team flopped

Before this, captain Shivam Dubey and Ajay Mishra made Falcons’ situation worse by taking 3 wickets each. Even team captain Shreyas Iyer became Dubey’s victim by scoring only 5 runs in 7 balls. Somehow, on the basis of Aditya Tare’s inning of 59 runs, the team reached 126 runs. After this, Andheri opener Divyansh Saxena laid the foundation of victory by playing an inning of 50 runs.
