June 6 was not a good day for captain Suryakumar Yadav, who led the Indian team to the T20 World Cup 2026 title about 3 months ago. While the captain of any team that wins the ICC title gets a reward, he commands the team for a long time, whereas the captaincy of the Indian team was snatched away from Suryakumar Yadav. In his place, this responsibility was given to star batsman Shreyas Iyer.
