It is being told that the new Siri will run with the help of Google’s Gemini AI model and Nvidia’s Blackwell chips. This can give users a more intelligent, faster and personalized experience. The first glimpse of this new Siri can be seen in September.
Siri will change with the help of Google and Nvidia
According to the report of The Information, Apple is partnering with Google and Nvidia to develop its next generation Siri. This is considered a different move from Apple’s traditional strategy as the company is usually known to develop its own technology or use multiple suppliers.
The report says that some questions and requests of the new Siri will be processed by the licensed Gemini AI model running on Google Cloud. Blackwell chips will provide strength and security
To power the new Siri, Google will use Nvidia’s Blackwell B200 chips in its data center. The specialty of these chips is that they have high memory bandwidth and the ability to handle large-scale AI workloads. Apart from this, confidential compute feature is also present in them, which keeps the data encrypted only during processing. This means that users’ information will remain secure, even if some requests are processed on third party clouds. Apple has long called privacy its biggest strength and this technology is considered an important step in that direction.
Features like chatbot can be found in new Siri
According to the report, the new Siri has not been officially introduced yet, but it is being seen as an advanced chatbot. It is being said that Siri coming with iOS 27 will be able to remember the personal context of the users and will also be able to understand the content present on the screen. With this, it will become much more useful and smarter than before.
