June Pradosh Vrat 2026: Pradosh fast is included among the important fasts in Sanatan Dharma. This fast is dedicated to Mahadev. On the day of Pradosh Vrat, Lord Shiva is worshiped with rituals. Pradosh Kaal period has special significance in this fast. On this day, Mahadev is worshiped only during Pradosh period. These days Adhikamas is going on, which comes every three years, hence the fasts and festivals falling in this month have special significance. Pradosh fast of Adhikamaas is also very special. There is a religious belief that by observing the fast of Pradosh one gets the special blessings of Lord Shiva.

Pradosh Vrat is known by the name of the attack that occurs on the day on which this fast is observed. Shukra Pradosh fast will be observed in the Krishna Paksha of the month of June. Although, there is some doubt in the minds of people regarding the date of this fast, but the first Pradosh fast of the month of June will be observed on 12th June. Shukra Pradosh Vrat Tithi (June Shukra Pradosh Vrat Tithi 2026)
- According to Drik Panchang, Trayodashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha of Jyeshtha month is starting on June 12 at 07:36 pm.
- At the same time, this date will end on June 13 at 04:07 pm.
In such a situation, Pradosh’s fast will be observed on 12th June. Since June 12 is a Friday, it is being called Shukra Pradosh Vrat.
Time of worship of Shukra Pradosh Vrat (June Shukra Pradosh Vrat 2026 Puja Shubh Muhurat)
On the day of Shukra Pradosh fast, the auspicious time of worship of Mahadev i.e. the time of Pradosh Kaal will start at 07:36 AM. This time is going to last till 09:20. It will be beneficial to worship Shiva in this auspicious time. There will be time of 01 hour 44 minutes for Shiva worship.
Pradosh Vrat Puja Method (Pradosh Vrat Puja Vidhi)
- On the day of Pradosh Vrat, take bath in the morning and worship. Then keep a fast on fruits throughout the day.
- Go to Lord Shiva’s temple in the evening or if there is a Shivalinga in the house, then anoint it.
- Offer water, milk, honey, Ganga water, Belpatra and white flowers to Lord Shiva.
- After this, chant Shiv Chalisa, Mahamrityunjaya Mantra and read Pradosh Vrat Katha.
- Finally, conclude the puja by performing Shiva ji aarti.
