Famous TV actress Shilpa Shinde i.e. Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain serial’s OG Angoori Bhabhi is a well-known name of TV. Ever since he left this serial, there was a significant impact on the TRP of the serial, due to which the show has not been able to recover till date. Now the actress has made a big revelation. Shilpa herself has now termed the allegations of sexual harassment leveled against serial producer Sanjay Kohli as false almost a decade ago.
Shilpa admitted this for the first time during a conversation in a talk show with comedy queen Bharti Singh and Harsh Limbachiyaa. Shilpa clearly said in the interview that the allegation leveled against the producer was completely false. When she was asked the reason for this lie, she told that at that time she was deeply embroiled in a law and contract dispute.
Shilpa made false allegations against the producer
Shilpa said- ‘At that time the police had directly told me that if serious allegations were not made, then the FIR would not be registered. I myself come from a legal background, so I was able to understand things. There was no other way left for me to get out of that situation.
The actress also admitted that because of this one step of hers, producer Sanjay Kohli had to face a lot of defamation without any reason. Shilpa said, ‘That poor guy got very infamous in this matter. Today, through this big platform, I want to tell the truth to the world that those allegations were false. At that time, after the agreement, I got all my pending money.
What was the whole matter?
This whole matter is of the year 2016, when Shilpa Shinde suddenly left this superhit comedy show. At that time the makers had called him unprofessional and sent him a notice to return to work or compensate for the loss. Shilpa alleged that Cine and TV Artists Association (CINTAA) had also banned her, after which she chose the path of court and police in the year 2017. The surprising thing is that in the year 2025, Shilpa Shinde once again returned to the show ‘Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain’. She told that she came back because of the writer of the show and now her relations with the entire team are very good and strong.
