Shehnaaz Gill: Worked for free, still did not get respect, Shehnaaz Gill remembered the struggle she did in the industry

Shehnaaz Gill: Bollywood actress Shehnaz Gill remains in the headlines for some reason or the other. Shahnaz is a well-known name in the industry today. Shehnaz grabbed a lot of limelight with her funny style in Bigg Boss 13 and made everyone her fan. Even though Shehnaz did not win Bigg Boss, she won the hearts of millions of people. After the show, Shehnaz has worked hard to make her place in the industry, about which the actress has now revealed. Shehnaaz told that she has struggled a lot to become what she is today.

Shehnaaz said that to prove herself and make her name in the industry, she even worked for free at one time. Not only this, Shahnaz expressed her pain and said that even after doing so much, she did not get the respect that she should have got.

Shehnaz remembered the days of struggle

Today Shehnaz Gill is active in both Hindi and Punjabi film industries. She is the face of many big brands and is continuously working in music videos and films. He has a huge fan following on social media. However, he told in an interview with News 18’s Shosh that even today he has to struggle regarding the fees before signing a film.

Shehnaaz said, “Money is very important. Money gives you respect. Today when I ask for fees as per my hard work, sometimes I get it, sometimes I don’t get it and sometimes I am offered less than the amount I told. But every person should fight for his rights, I have worked very hard to reach here and have faced a lot of difficulties.”

She also told that now she does not think of working without fees. Explaining the reason for this, Shehnaaz said, “There was a time when I did a lot of work for free. But I did not get any respect for that work. I did a lot for people, but it was not appreciated. So now I fight for my rightful fees. Yes, if the story of a film is very good, then only I make a little compromise.”

What did the actress say about moving forward in the industry?

Regarding progressing herself in the industry in a better way, Shehnaaz said that she wants to learn one thing. She said, “I am not able to convince anyone to give me a role by explaining this. Some people have a very good art of convincing others. This is the only thing I want to learn.”

However, she is proud of the fact that she never compromised her self-respect just for the sake of big banner or big star films. If she does not get respect for a project as per her hard work and ability, she does not feel compelled to accept it.
