Daisy Shah is ready for a new challenge on the big screen. The actress is going to play the role of an IPS officer in the upcoming film ‘DGP Kashmir’. Recently the teaser of the film was launched, where its entire star cast was included. Even before this, Daisy Shah has played the role of a police officer but this time she is going to become an IPS officer, for which she is very excited.

Talking about the role of an IPS officer in her upcoming film, Daisy Shah said, “I had earlier played the role of a policeman, but now I have reached here. What makes it even more special is that this film is inspired by many true incidents that happened in Kashmir. In my childhood, I had dreamed of becoming an IPS officer.” Made under the direction of Imtiaz Bhatt, ‘DGP Kashmir’ is based on the struggle and sacrifice of security forces and police officers in the valley.

Story of ‘DGP Kashmir’?

Daisy Shah further said, “This film is for the unsung hero of Kashmir, about whom people do not know. It is important for people to know his story. Through this film, people will get to see a different style of mine, especially when it comes to action.” Daisy Shah will start shooting for her part in July, for which she is preparing herself physically. The actress says, “I have not started my shooting but I have a month to prepare. I am already a national level shooter, so this experience will help in improving my role even more.”
