
Ayodhya Ram Mandir Donation Controversy: The political storm is showing no signs of stopping after Samajwadi Party National President Akhilesh Yadav alleged that crores of rupees offered in the Ram temple are allegedly missing. Despite the allegations being rejected by Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, Akhilesh Yadav has termed his statement on social media as vague.
Amidst this entire incident, the central and state governments have become completely alert. According to sources, a detailed report has been called to know the truth of the matter. Meanwhile, Chairman of Ram Temple Construction Committee, Nripendra Mishra suddenly reached Ayodhya on Monday. He held a long closed-door meeting with the officials of the Trust.
Nripendra Mishra suddenly reached Ayodhya
Sources reveal that Nripendra Mishra was originally scheduled to come to Ayodhya for the proposed review meeting on June 13, but as the controversy escalated, he changed his schedule and decided to reach Ayodhya immediately. Issues related to the amount of offering, its use and accounting were discussed in detail in the meeting. Trust sources say that all aspects were reviewed in the meeting and no doubt will be allowed regarding transparency.
Akhilesh Yadav had raised the question
Akhilesh Yadav had recently claimed that the accounts of crores of rupees offered by devotees in the Ram temple were not clean and alleged that the amount was missing. Champat Rai had completely rejected these allegations and said that all the transactions are being done in a transparent manner and audit is being done. However, the opposition did not seem satisfied with his statement and raised questions on social media.
Considering the sensitivity of the matter, the Central Government and Yogi Adityanath Government are keeping an eye on both the levels. Ram temple is the center of faith of crores of devotees of the country. In such a situation, the questions arising regarding the amount of offering are being taken seriously. Sources believe that soon transparent information can be given on this entire matter.
