
Today, on June 10, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has broken the record of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. He has achieved the feat of being the elected Prime Minister for the longest period. Modi completed the milestone of being elected PM for 4399 consecutive days. Nehru remained elected PM for 4398 consecutive days. A proposal was passed in the cabinet on this achievement of PM Modi, information about which was given by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. He said that today Modi ji has made a record of serving continuously for the longest period as an elected PM. The cabinet also passed a resolution on this.
What’s in the proposal?
It was said in the resolution that today marked an important milestone in India’s democracy. Modi completed the milestone of being elected PM for 4399 consecutive days. Nehru remained PM continuously for 4398 days.
Vaishnav further said that Nehru came from a big political family but Modi came from an ordinary family without any political background and made this record. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the cabinet took a total of seven resolutions. This is based on the decisions taken by the government under the leadership of PM Modi in the last 12 years related to farmers, women, social justice, national security etc.
