Petrol diesel price today: Latest rates of petrol and diesel released, check the price in your city.

June 9, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Tuesday has brought a good news for the common man. A decline in crude oil prices is being seen in the international market. Government oil companies—HPCL, BPCL and IOCL—have released new rates of petrol and diesel for today. It is a matter of relief that even today there has been no change in the prices. Brent crude has slipped to around $94 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) is trading around $91.

Where is the cheapest oil available in the country?

Talking about the entire country, fuel at the most affordable rate is available in Port Blair, the capital of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Here the price of one liter petrol is only Rs 88.66, while diesel is being sold at Rs 84.56 per litre. In contrast, the most expensive rates are being faced by residents of Chittoor in Andhra Pradesh. The price of petrol in Chittoor is at a record level of Rs 118.34, while the price of diesel has reached Rs 106.06 per liter.
