Paper Leak: No speech, trust is needed… Political battle started in Haryana also over paper leak.

July 27, 2026 by Uma Shankar

The issue of paper leak has once again become a political battle in Haryana. Aam Aadmi Party’s national media in-charge Anurag Dhanda has given an open challenge to Haryana BJP. He asked which recruitment examination has remained untouched by paper leak or recruitment controversy during the tenure of the BJP government. In response, Haryana BJP accused AAP of spreading lies and described its government’s recruitment process as the best model.

The allegations and counter-allegations between the two parties are intense, but amidst this political fight, the biggest question is that of lakhs of unemployed youth of Haryana, whose hard work and future seems to be at stake due to recruitment controversies again and again.

Irregularities in more than 30 recruitment exams-AAP

Aam Aadmi Party It is alleged that during the tenure of the BJP government, more than 30 recruitment examinations were surrounded by allegations of paper leaks or serious irregularities. These include Village Secretary Recruitment, Clerk Recruitment, Electricity Department Clerk, Excise Inspector, Agriculture Inspector, Conductor Recruitment, ITI Instructor, Naib Tehsildar, HTET, Police Constable, Patwari, TGT, Dental Surgeon, Steno Typist, UDC, Junior Draftsman and many other recruitments are being named.

The opposition says that every time after the news of paper leak, the examination was cancelled, investigation was conducted, but the biggest loss was to those youth who had prepared for years.

The opposition is also raising the question that more than Rs 20 crore is spent every year on the confidentiality and security of recruitment examinations. Despite this, what is the meaning of repeated paper leaks and recruitment controversies? If the system is completely transparent then why are questions raised again and again on the examinations? Who will return the time, money and mental pressure of the youth?

Job without recommendation and without bribe-BJP

On the other hand, Haryana BJP is calling all these allegations as political propaganda. The party says that the BJP government has given jobs to lakhs of youth on the basis of merit, without recommendation and without bribe. BJP alleges that the Aam Aadmi Party is trying to spread confusion to divert attention from the achievements of Haryana and first it should answer on issues like recruitment, law and order and drugs in Punjab.

But the debate on social media is no longer limited to only AAP and BJP. A large number of youth are raising the question as to why controversy is associated with every recruitment. Some reach their age, some prepare for years, some appear for the exam with family expectations, but when the recruitment is canceled or comes under scrutiny, the hard-working candidate pays the biggest price.

Exams and papers should be safe on time.

Today the youth of Haryana are not asking for speeches from the leaders, but for trust. It needs such a recruitment system in which exams are conducted on time, papers remain safe, culprits are immediately punished and the hard work of honest candidates is not overshadowed by any paper leak mafia. Political rhetoric has its place, but the question of the youth is still the same, will the job examination in Haryana be won through hard work or will the news of paper leak make headlines every time?
