
Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo T5e in India. This phone comes with 5500mAh battery, OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and AI features. The company has also given it IP64 rating, military grade durability and 90Hz display. The starting price of the phone has been kept at Rs 13,999. The company has not given any information regarding 5G connectivity in the phone.
Vivo T5e: price and availability
The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant of Vivo T5e has been launched for Rs 13,999. This smartphone is available for sale on Vivo’s official website, Flipkart and offline retail stores. The phone comes in matte frame design and two color options: Shadow Gray and Arrow Blue.
Vivo T5e: display, design and processor
The phone has a 6.74 inch HD Plus display, which comes with 90Hz refresh rate. OriginOS 6 based Android 16 is available in it. Unisoc T7225 octa core processor has been provided for performance. The phone has support for 4GB extended RAM along with 4GB RAM. Apart from this, storage can be increased up to 2TB via microSD card. A side mounted fingerprint sensor is available in the phone.
Vivo T5e: camera
Vivo T5e has an 8 megapixel rear camera and 5 megapixel front camera. Features like AI Cutout and Vivo Dockmaster are available with the camera. AI creation feature is also provided in the phone, which helps in summarizing, translating and rewriting the content.
Vivo T5e: Battery and connectivity
The phone has a 5500mAh battery, which according to the company supports online video playback up to 18 hours, music playback up to 47 hours, social media use up to 13.5 hours and voice calls up to 28 hours. It also claims 15W fast charging, reverse charging and battery health of up to 4 years. Apart from this, IP64 dust and splash resistance, military grade durability, wet hand touch and greasy hand touch support is also available, due to which the screen can be used even with light water or oiled hands.
