
Pakistan Army has crossed all limits to crush the voices against the government rising in POK. India on Tuesday strongly criticized Pakistan over the ongoing unrest and police brutality in POK. Let us tell you that at least 30 people have reportedly been killed in the ongoing protests in POK. India also said that the international community should hold Islamabad accountable for its wrongdoings.
During the press briefing, the Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson accused Pakistan of publishing a pattern of fake news and videos and termed it as a desperate attempt to cover up internal failures and divert attention from alleged human rights violations in the occupied territory.
The Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement, “In this context, we are seeing a pattern of fake news and videos coming from Pakistan. This is a desperate attempt by Pakistan to hide its failures and divert attention from its human rights abuses. There have been reports of serious police brutality in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, in which several protesters have been killed and many injured. We hope that the international community will hold Pakistan accountable for its misdeeds and abuses.”
Situation is worsening in POK
Many serious news are coming amid increasing tension in PoK after violent clashes between security forces and protesters. According to government figures given in media reports, at least 11 people were killed and more than 70 were injured in the violence and retaliatory firing in Rawalakot on Sunday night. However, many Pakistani journalists and activists on the social media platform X have alleged that the actual death toll could be much higher and dozens of people have died.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson said that all 24 Indian citizens aboard the ship ‘Marivax’ stranded after the attack off the coast of Oman have been rescued safely, for which he expressed gratitude to the Government of Oman. In the context of Nepal’s recent comments on the Lipulekh-Limpiyadhura issue, it was made clear that there is no change in India’s position and this stand has already been made clear.
The Ministry of External Affairs further stated that India’s development cooperation supports all stakeholders on the situation of women and girls in Afghanistan and India continues to assist the Afghan people through humanitarian assistance and development projects. DG level meeting is going on between BSF and BGB on India-Bangladesh border issues, in which border management and relevant issues are being discussed.
