OnePlus is preparing to launch its new budget smartphone series in India. According to a latest leak, the company can introduce the new OnePlus N series next month. It is being said that the price of some models of this series can be less than Rs 20,000. If this happens, then this phone can become a cheaper option than OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. However, the company has not yet made any official announcement regarding this series.
New N series may enter in July
According to the leak, OnePlus is planning to launch a new smartphone lineup in India, which can be introduced in the name of OnePlus N series. Tipster Yogesh Brar has claimed that the first smartphone of this series can hit the Indian market in July. It has also been said in the report that the price of some models of this series can be kept below Rs 20,000. If this information proves to be correct then OnePlus can further strengthen its presence in the budget smartphone segment. At present, no official confirmation has been made by the company regarding the launch timeline or price.
Will be cheaper than Nord CE 6 Lite
The new OnePlus N series is being considered as the model to replace the company’s current most affordable smartphone OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite. OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite was launched in India on May 7. Its 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant was priced at Rs 20,999, while the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage model was offered for Rs 22,999. In such a situation, if the N series smartphones come at a price of less than Rs 20,000, then they can become an attractive option for those customers who want the OnePlus experience in a low budget. This can help the company in adding new customers in the budget and mid-range segment.

OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite has a 6.72-inch Full HD Plus LCD display, which supports 144Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1000 nits. The phone has MediaTek Dimension 7400 Apex processor and ARM Mali-G615 GPU. For photography, it has a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor, while for selfies, an 8-megapixel front camera is available. The smartphone has a large 7000mAh battery which supports 45W fast charging and 10W reverse charging. Apart from this, the phone has also got IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H durability certification.
