When Russia attacked Ukraine, America and Europe stood with Ukraine. The war which Russia wanted to end in 23 days is still going on even after more than 4 years. But, as soon as Trump opened a front against Iran, the whole scene changed. When Europe distanced itself from the war against Iran, Trump increased distance from Europe. Now Europe is stuck between Russia and America.
At the same time when Russian President Putin is preparing to incinerate the entire Europe with the fire of his Oreshnik missiles, America has put a dagger in the back of NATO. Washington pulled out of Europe’s head. It is reported that America will no longer sell even its most deadly Tomahawk missiles to Germany. So is America afraid of Russia? Or have preparations been made to punish Europe for not supporting the Iran war?
Panic in Europe as America retreats
The shocking thing is that as soon as America retreated, panic spread in Europe. To save their lives, the countries of Europe have now opened all their safes. By giving drones worth billions of euros to Ukraine, it even created a dangerous maze to entangle Russia on its own soil, but will Europe be able to stand against the power of Russia? And did Trump leave Europe unarmed before Putin?
The truth is that the NATO alliance on which America ruled the world for decades is now hollowing out that alliance like termites. This is confirmed by an intelligence report by Politico, which has given Europe sleepless nights. According to the report, the Trump administration is going to cancel the plan to send Tomahawk missiles to Germany.
In the same report, it has been said that this historic agreement made during the Biden administration is being torn up and thrown in the dustbin, but the biggest question is why America is doing this? The answer to which stands on the foundation of two big reasons. First, Putin’s fear, in which American officials fear that if American precision missiles are deployed in the middle of Europe, Russia will consider it a step to increase tension and will retaliate.
America lacks weapons to protect itself
While the second is the impact of the Iran war because America has spent thousands of its Tomahawk and Patriot missiles in the initial weeks of the war. Therefore, America is short of weapons to protect itself. In fact, US Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has already admitted in Congress that it will take months and years to replace the weapons used in the Iran war.
At the same time, General Alexus Grinkevich, the head of the US Army in Europe, has also said that Europe will now have to protect itself, because the US Army’s attention is elsewhere. As a result, Germany had to suffer the consequences. First the Pentagon canceled the deployment of 5000 soldiers in one stroke. Now steps have been taken towards canceling the sale of Tomahawk missiles.
That means America withdrew from Europe and the whole of Europe now came on the verge of war with Russia. For which Russia deployed nuclear capable Skandaar missiles in Kaliningrad. Medium-range Oreshnik missiles were also deployed in Belarus. These are those missiles which can reduce Berlin and Paris to ashes within a few minutes.
Political earthquake in Germany due to American deception
Therefore, American deception caused political upheaval in Germany. It did not take long for the German leaders to understand that the Trump administration was taking revenge from Europe for not getting cooperation in the Iran war, which is a compliment to a statement from Merz. In which he said, I do not expect that America will now deploy Tomahawk missiles in Germany. America itself is facing a shortage of missiles.
The surprising thing is that the deal for Tomahawk missiles between Germany and America was signed one and a half years ago. Despite this, America has not given any reply till now. So Germany is now looking for cheaper options for long-range strike capability, but defense planners know that no drone can match a Tomahawk cruise missile.
Therefore Europe has decided to move forward in another direction. This step is to stop Russia in Ukraine. According to the report of the Kiel Institute for the World Economy, Europe has put all its strength into drone war to stop Russia. European countries have allocated a fund of 1.6 billion euros till April 2026, in which Britain has delivered 1 lakh 20 thousand drones to Ukraine.
Germany and Norway released drone fund
Germany and Norway have released a drone fund of 500 million euros. Netherlands has also given 250 million euro fund. That is, Europe’s simple formula is that do not fight yourself, but give so many weapons and drones to Ukraine that Putin’s army will not be able to get out of the swamp of Ukraine. Therefore, European donors are releasing funds on a large scale and also supporting Ukraine.
The interesting thing is that Germany alone has promised to provide military aid worth 4.2 billion euros to Ukraine. Japan has also released 1.1 billion euros from frozen Russian assets to Ukraine. That is, Trump has made it clear that NATO has no importance in front of his America First policy. Now Europe’s existence depends only on those drones flying in the sky of Ukraine, which Europe is providing to stop Russia, but it is beyond the capability of these drones to stop Putin’s Oreshnik crisis.
