Travelers, local people and children are facing immense difficulties amid the scorching heat. To deal with this challenge, local police and administration have been deployed on the roads. But at present they seem to be failing in clearing the jam. At the same time, the journey became very difficult due to long traffic jam on Mussoorie-Dehradun road. It is taking about one and a half hour for the tourists to travel two-three kilometers. Mussoorie is in bad shape due to traffic jams all around. Be it the road to Kempty Falls or Library Chowk, there is jam everywhere in Mussoorie.

50 kilometer long jam on Rohtang roads, tourists imprisoned for hours
Thousands of tourists are heading to Manali and Rohtang Pass these days to get relief from the scorching heat in the plains, but for the tourists in search of solace, this journey is no less than an ordeal. The increasing traffic pressure on Manali-Rohtang road has made the journey of tourists tiring. The situation on Saturday was such that it took 7 to 8 hours for the tourists to cover the distance of about 50 kilometers from Manali to Rohtang.
Vehicles leaving for Rohtang early in the morning remained stuck in long queues till daybreak. At many places, the speed of vehicles was seen slowing down on the road, while at some places traffic remained at a complete standstill for hours. Long lines of vehicles were visible throughout the day on the road leading to Rohtang. The tourists who came to see the snow certainly looked troubled due to the traffic jam, but continued their journey in the hope of reaching the destination.
Know why there is jam
Due to the presence of snow in Rohtang even in the last days of May, a large number of tourists are reaching there. For this reason, the pressure of vehicles on the road is continuously increasing. The situation was such that many tourists started feeling tired even before reaching Rohtang. Especially people traveling with family and small children had to face the most problems due to long delays.
