Mamata Banerjee held the third meeting on Friday. Six MPs and eight MLAs were present in the meeting. This gave rise to the question whether there will be another split in TMC on June 8? After the rebellion in the legislature party, now Mamata Banerjee’s MPs can rebel.
According to sources of Bengal TMC On the lines of MLAs, a new group of TMC Lok Sabha MPs may also be formed in the coming days. A senior TMC MP can lead it. He is angry at being sidelined in the party.
It is being claimed that because of Abhishek Banerjee’s behavior he is angry with his own party. There is also a claim that some TMC MPs are in touch with BJP since the results were declared on May 4.
Rebel MPs will meet the Speaker next week
Amidst all this, the news from sources is that rebel TMC MPs may meet the Lok Sabha Speaker next week. In this meeting, he can demand the removal of Abhishek Banerjee from the post of parliamentary party leader. There will be a meeting of rebel MPs in Kolkata on Sunday, June 7, which will be presided over by Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar.
Next day on June 8, some MPs may meet the Speaker in Delhi and demand to make Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar the new leader. There is also a meeting of INDIA alliance in Delhi on the same day, in which Mamata Banerjee is likely to be present.

Trinamool currently has 28 MPs in the Lok Sabha. The rebel group is trying to bring 22 MPs with itself. Under anti-defection law, support of at least 19 out of 28 MPs will be required to change faction.
However, sources also say that there is no scope for any kind of disunity in TMC’s Rajya Sabha party. The reason for this is that most of the Rajya Sabha MPs of TMC are loyal to Mamata Banerjee and would hardly go against her. TMC has 13 MPs in Rajya Sabha.
TMC is breaking into pieces
Sources say that CM Shubhendu Adhikari can go to Delhi on June 8. On the same day, a group of 18 Trinamool Congress MPs under the leadership of Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar will also reach Delhi. Apart from Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, this group can meet some senior BJP leaders. According to sources, MPs may raise the demand for parliamentary protection amid fears of action by central agencies or possible arrest.

Sources are also saying that keeping in mind the 2029 Lok Sabha elections, these MPs are being seen as a friendly opposition in the future i.e. an opposition group having a soft attitude towards BJP.
Trinamool is facing shock after shock, the 28 year old party is falling into pieces, in such a situation now Mamata Banerjee has also started damage control. She is personally contacting the rebel MLAs and appealing to them not to rebel.

According to party sources, Mamata Banerjee spoke to many MLAs in the last two days. This includes many MLAs from Howrah, Murshidabad and North Dinajpur. These are the MLAs who have attended the meetings of the rebel camp led by Ritabrata Banerjee.
However, this effort does not seem to be of much benefit to Mamata Banerjee, because in the meeting called by Mamata Banerjee in Kalighat today, only 6 MPs arrived, one of which was her nephew Abhishek Banerjee and it was said that 8 MLAs would arrive.
However, apart from Mamata’s efforts, one truth is that Muslim MLAs are also leaving Mamata Banerjee’s side. 8 out of 9 MLAs of Murshidabad have become rebels. Ritabrata Banerjee has claimed that some more MLAs may come along, although he has ruled out the possibility of forming a party.
Political turmoil over split in TMC
On the rebellion of the MPs, he said that anything can happen. The number of our fellow MLAs will increase further. Bengal Minister Dilip Ghosh said that TMC’s drama will continue for a few days and then the party will end.

In Jhargram, the crowd threw eggs at TMC councilor Arijit Das Thakur on the charge of extortion. The thing to note is that the eggs were thrown in the presence of the police.
However, the police saved Arijit Das and arrested him. The second incident is from New Alipore, where TMC leader Swaroop Biswas was arrested in the case of extortion and threatening. The angry mob vandalized his car.
Protest continues against Trinamool leaders
Local people surrounded the house of Trinamool-backed Jamaldah Gram Panchayat head Geeta Barman and protested. Rotten eggs and water bottles were thrown at his house.
In Cooch Behar, local women surrounded the house of TMC Panchayat chief Geeta Burman, accused of taking Katmani, due to which she got scared and hid under the bed. It is alleged that angry people threw rotten eggs and water bottles at the house of the Panchayat chief. Some people also tried to vandalize the house.
In Mathabhanga, Cooch Behar, TMC leader Shahidul Mia is also accused of taking cut money, yesterday people surrounded him, after which he hid under the bed. Overall, the situation in Bengal is that the bad days of local TMC leaders have come.
