Mark Zuckerberg’s company has been lagging behind the competition in terms of Large Language Models (LLMs), but now the company feels that there is an area where the company can compete in terms of pricing. According to the recent report of The Information, Meta’s AI agent Hatch is about to come which can give a tough competition to OpenAI and Anthropic. However, the name of the hatch may change at the time of official release.

What is an AI agent?

Before knowing what is Meta’s plan, you have to understand what is AI Agent? AI agent can work on your behalf, you can ask AI to code a project or prepare a draft of a presentation and as soon as it receives the command from you, the AI agent will do all the work for you.

According to the report, Meta can charge up to $ 199.99 (approximately Rs 19,000) every month for the premium hatch version. At this price, this AI agent can compete with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Pro and Anthropic’s Claude Max, which cost $200 per month. At present, there is no information whether it will be launched for Indian users or not, if yes, then at what price will the subscription be available in India?

What is Hatch?

According to reports, Hatch is the consumer version of the OpenClaw AI Agent tool, an AI agent that can work on your device and for you. Meta has discussed pricing for the product, which includes Hatch Plus (paid subscription), which will provide 5 to 10 times more daily capacity than the free version.

According to the report, with the help of Hatch, users will be able to get things done like creating software tools or scheduling events on the calendar and sending emails. Note that Hatch is being tested on Anthropic’s Cloud Sonnet model, but is expected to run on Meta’s Muse Spark AI model at launch.
