Before that, Rahul would like to refresh himself by keeping some distance from cricket. In such a situation, there was suspense over his playing in the Maharaja T20 Trophy. This is the reason why they were not bid in the auction.

KL Rahul has scored 593 runs in IPL 2026 at a strike rate of 174.41, including a big inning of 152 runs, which is the biggest innings by any Indian batsman in T20 cricket. KL Rahul hit a total of 87 boundaries in IPL 2026, including 31 sixes and 56 fours.

Even though KL Rahul was unavailable in the auction for the Maharaja T20 Trophy, no one bid on him. But fast bowler Prasidh Krishna found a buyer. Prasidh Krishna was bought by Mysore Warriors for Rs 2.60 lakh. Prasidh Krishna is also currently a part of Team India in the series against Afghanistan.
