Mahabharat’s ‘Kans’, who was born in Pakistan, did more than 100 films, why did people stop him on the way and call him ‘atrocious’?

Actually, Goga Kapoor had worked in more than 120 films in his entire career. Apart from 'Mahabharata', the TV shows in which he was a part also include 'Jai Veer Hanuman'. Played the role of Ravana in this show. The actor has a connection with Pakistan because he was born in Gujranwala, which is across the border.Goga Kapoor's family had come to Delhi from Pakistan at the time of partition. He played the iconic character of 'Kans' in Mahabharata, which made him a household name. In his career spanning over 30 years, he mostly played negative roles i.e. villains. He made his debut with the film 'Jwala' released in 1971.In fact, Goga Kapoor played the character of Kansa in Mahabharata so beautifully that people started thinking of him as Kansa. Due to which people's minds were filled with a lot of hatred for him. People used to stop him on the way and ask – Why have you done such atrocities to your sister Devaki?Not only this, people often called Goga Kapoor as 'tyrant', 'tyrant' and 'sinful'. This show had made the actor's image quite negative among the people. Actually Goga Kapoor had worked with Amitabh Bachchan in 20 films. However, he died at the age of 70.
