
Mahabharat Trivia: Whenever there is talk of mythological serials in the history of Indian television, Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana and BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharata’ are mentioned first. People liked both these shows a lot. Many different versions of both the shows were made, but none could achieve popularity like these. However, if we talk about ‘Mahabharata’, ‘Mahabharata’ was made again in the year 2013 and gained popularity. Amazing thing is that there were two actors of BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharata’, who had participated in 2013’s ‘Mahabharata’.
‘Mahabharata’ It was made twice, which gained more popularity. One of these was BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharata’, and the other was Swastik Production’s ‘Mahabharata’. Both these shows won the hearts of the audience in different eras and took the story of ‘Mahabharata’ to the new generation. The interesting thing is that there was a gap of about 25 years between these two popular serials, but there were some artists who worked in both the shows, among these artists Puneet Issar And Sudesh Berry’s name was included.
First Duryodhana, then Parashar Rishi
Puneet Issar and Sudesh Beri played different characters both the times and received a lot of praise from the audience in each role. Puneet Issar played the role of Duryodhana in BR Chopra’s 1988 ‘Mahabharata’. When Swastik Production’s new ‘Mahabharata’ came in the year 2013, this time Puneet Issar was seen in the role of Parashar Rishi. Even though the role was small, he left a deep impression on the audience with his presence.

Whereas Sudesh Beri played the character of Vichitravirya. Although this role was not very big, his acting was appreciated. When the new ‘Mahabharata’ was produced, Sudesh Beri played the role of Drupada in it.

Drupada was an important part of the story as Draupadi’s father and the Panchala king. Sudesh played this role also very effectively. He got special recognition among all the actors of ‘Mahabharata’, whom people still know as his character.
