After Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayana, the show ‘Mahabharat’ made under the direction of BR Chopra has created a lot of discussion among the people in the TV world. This show ran for 2 years and even today its story has made a special place in the hearts of people. Not only did people like it in India, but thousands of kilometers away in Britain, people also liked it a lot.
On TV in 1988 ‘Mahabharata’ This show was telecast and ran till 1990. But, Rajasthan was chosen for the Kurukshetra war scene, the set was prepared on a large scale, in which thousands of artists were used. Casting for this show was started in 1986 itself.

telecast happened again
It is said that like Ramayana, when this show was also telecast, the streets used to become empty at that time. After BR Chopra’s ‘Mahabharata’, more ‘Mahabharata’ were made, but no one could take its place. In the year 2020, this show was telecasted again on Doordarshan. After 1990, another part of the serial, ‘Mahabharata’ Katha was released, which was telecast in the year 1997. It includes all the untold stories of the series.
