Apoorva narrated her ordeal
Actually, Apoorva and Sufi were seen together in Karan Johar’s show The Traitor. It was from here that both of them became friends. Now both have met again in the lockup. During this, while talking to Sufi, Apoorva says, “I really missed you a lot. I swear by my mother. Whenever someone asks me how you were his friend, he is a very cold person, then I always say that if Sufi was not with me during the ‘Latent’ controversy, I would probably have given up my life.”
On this, Sufi Motiwala immediately stopped him and said, “Don’t say such things. To tell you the truth, when we were friends. That one year was the best time of my life. For the first time, I felt that I have a friend in Mumbai, to whom I can go anytime. I also missed you a lot.”
In response, Apoorva said, “I would never have been able to get through that difficult phase alone. At that time, only you were with me. I was not even dating anyone. As a friend, I have always given you credit for this. You saved my life. If you had not been with me, I would have probably never been able to recover from that period of ‘Latent’ controversy.
