Priya Bapat shared that when the script of the film was given to her, there was a kissing scene in it, which was completely unnecessary and neither did it fit the scene. Priya Bapat spoke openly about that kissing scene and said that her co-star had crossed the limits. After this her husband Umesh Kamat reached there to support her.
Priya Bapat’s big revelation
In a recent interview, Priya Bapat said, “This was one of my first films. This was before ‘City of Dreams’ and all that. There was only one kissing scene in the film. Right from the script reading session, I was worried and doubtful about it. I kept asking the director, why is it needed? It was not about whether I wanted to kiss or not. But the point was… how do you justify it? How do you make it right? Will you accommodate? It didn’t seem right here at all.”
Co-actor kept kissing again and again
Despite her hesitation, Priya finally agreed to do the scene. The actress told that during the shooting of a song, she felt very uncomfortable, because the actor working with her repeatedly did things as per his wish and kissed her. Priya said, “There were some moments when the actor was doing things as per his wish during the song. He was kissing me again and again. And I don’t know why, at that time I did not raise my voice for myself, because I was not able to understand how to deal with this situation.”
Co-actor used to message
The actress told that the co-actor used to message her, ask her to come along on the pretext of taking swimming lessons, call her for dinner and ask to meet for breakfast. Priya said that she rejected all his attempts and made it clear that she did not accept all this.
