June 8, 2026 by Uma Shankar

Reliance Jio, India’s largest telecom operator, not only has affordable and great recharge plans for you, but the company also sells GPS tracking products like JioTag Go and JioTag Air. The thing to note is that the price of both the models is Rs 1499, now the question here is that when the price of both the products is equal then what is the difference between the two? Both these devices are available for Rs 1499 on the company’s official site but on Amazon they are being sold for Rs 549 (Air) and Rs 699 (Go).

What is the difference between the two?

If you use an Android phone then you can buy the Go variant because the Go variant is compatible with Android phones. On the other hand, if you have an Apple company phone, iPad, watch or MacBook, then you can buy the Air variant. According to Telecom Talk, the Go variant works with Find My Device, while the Air variant works with Apple Find My.

How to use JioTag Go and JioTag Air?

If you are buying Go or Air variant then you just have to connect this device to your phone. Enter the Google Find Hub app on the device and locate and connect the JioTag Go. At the same time, Apple users download and install Apple Find My app in their phone and then after opening the app, pair it with Jio Tag Air. Once the device is paired with the app, you can keep the device in your purse, car, bag or anywhere else and track your product with the help of this tracking device.

Jio Tag is sold in different colors, apart from this it has loud built-in alarm, long battery life. The thing to note is that the battery is replaceable, this means that even if the battery gets damaged, you will not have to buy the Jio tag separately, you can get the battery replaced.
