Special Cell Special CP Anil Shukla told during the press briefing on Saturday that the investigation of Special Cell has revealed a network related to Pakistani ISI and underworld. Police had caught a don named Vijay Shooter from Pune, after which another was caught from Sahibganj. It was revealed from them that he was associated with Shahzad Bhatti who was planning to carry out a conspiracy in many cities including Delhi. Similar action was also taken in Maharashtra, from where two more suspects were arrested.
Apart from this, three more suspects have been arrested from Punjab, who were going towards Chhatarpur in Delhi. In the press briefing, Anil Shukla told that he had to open fire on security personnel in Delhi. After interrogating them, we came to know about Munna Jagada who had earlier attacked Chhota Rajan. All these miscreants were in contact with Munna, while these miscreants were getting financial support from a Nepali.
Were doing videography of locations
The arrested suspects were doing videography of the locations. Videos of Dadar Railway Station bridge were found from him, he had also made some videos in Delhi. Jagada had attacked in the year 2000 and had also gone to Pakistan, where he had declared his name as Salim. Many buildings and vital establishments of Mumbai were their target. With their timely arrest, a major terrorist conspiracy in the country has been exposed.
Dangerous weapon found from suspects
Four grenades, which were blasted by NSG, and 25 live cartridges were recovered from them. The cartridges are said to be from Pakistan. Two Glock pistols have also been recovered. All these weapons have come to India through drone dropping. Munna Jagada is currently in Karachi, Pakistan.
