India reprimanded Pakistan in the United Nations (UN). India said that Pakistan is spreading false and misleading information by naming the terrorist and extremist groups operating in its country as Fitna al Hindustan. In the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) meeting held on the situation in Afghanistan, India’s permanent representative Harish Parvathaneni said that Pakistan is trying to blame India for its internal problems and failures.
Parvathaneni said that last year Pakistan named some militant organizations operating in its country as Fitna al Hindustan and alleged that they were working with the support of India. But Pakistan did not provide any evidence to support these claims. India said that this naming is a kind of propaganda being spread by the Pakistan government. Pakistan is trying to mislead its citizens and the world by using religious words.

Pakistan hate factory
Describing Pakistan as an organized factory that spreads hatred, Harish Parvathaneni said that the system there wants to divert people’s attention from the economic and political problems of the country by creating an anti-India atmosphere. India also raised questions on the increasing influence of the army in Pakistan. Parvathaneni said that it is clear from the recent constitutional changes that the influence of the army on civil institutions is increasing in Pakistan.
Questions also raised on air strikes in Afghanistan
India also criticized Pakistan’s military action in Afghanistan. Parvathaneni said that killing of civilians cannot be called an anti-terrorism operation. He said, ‘Calling a massacre a military action does not eliminate responsibility. Killing, injuring civilians and making children orphans is not a fight against terrorism.
He also said that on one hand talking about international law and Islamic unity and on the other hand carrying out air strikes in the month of Ramadan shows a double attitude. According to the United Nations, 13 Afghan civilians, including women and children, were killed in Pakistan air strikes in February 2026. After this the border conflict between the two countries increased. By March 2026, 42 people had died, 104 people were injured and more than 1 lakh people had been displaced. 400 people were killed in an air attack on a drug de-addiction hospital in Kabul.
