These days, a political battle has once again erupted in the politics of Rajasthan Congress. Former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is continuously raising questions regarding the Manesar incident in 2020. Breaking his silence on the incident of September 25, 2022, Gehlot said that some people say that I had rebelled against the party high command that day. Gehlot While talking to the media at the Constitution Club on Sunday, he said that the rebellion on September 25, 2022 was not against the party high command but against Sachin Pilot, because Sachin Pilot’s name had been floated for Chief Minister or his friends had floated his name. Hundred MLAs had resigned that day.

That’s why the MLAs said that anyone among the hundred MLAs can be made the Chief Minister, but Sachin Pilot is not acceptable. Pilot must admit mistake
He said that those making allegations should also understand that when the party high command decides to change the Chief Minister, then 90% of the MLAs leave the old Chief Minister and go with the new Chief Minister. My name was running for the post of National President, then what happened that MLA Sachin did not go with Pilot and he resigned. Gehlot said that Sachin Pilot should also understand that he has been in politics for 20 years, we are not his enemy. I have love for him since childhood. Don’t know who is guiding them?
Gehlot said that only humans make mistakes. Sachin Pilot should also accept the truth and admit his mistake. If Sachin Pilot had understood my feelings that day, there would not have been such a problem today, that is why this issue remains till today. I also said that Manesar should not be mentioned but no statement on this ever came from Sachin Pilot. The former Chief Minister said that today the country is in crisis and only the Congress Party can save the country from this crisis.
The incident of 25 September 2022 is a conspiracy
The former Chief Minister also termed the incident of September 25 as a conspiracy and said that the observers suddenly coming to Jaipur on that day and all the sudden developments thereafter are also a conspiracy. The people of the country understand that Ashok Gehlot had to remain the Chief Minister, hence he rejected the post of National President. People close to me also understand the same, but many people have misrepresented it, I have never said anything on this till date, today I am saying it for the first time.
I had apologized to Sonia Gandhi: Gehlot
The former Chief Minister said that I remained completely silent then, because I had to tell Sonia Gandhi about this incident. I was the leader of the legislative party. It was my responsibility that I could not get the proposal passed by the observers who had come from AICC. However, last night itself I had said that let’s postpone the meeting today. Will call the meeting again tomorrow, but that situation did not happen again. That’s why the proposal could not be passed, so I went to Sonia Gandhi and apologized.
I made Sachin Pilot a Union Minister
The former Chief Minister said that I made Sachin Pilot the Union Minister during the second term of the UPA government. He called me and asked for help. I went to Delhi and recommended him, but I am sad that even till date Sachin Pilot has not said that Ashok Gehlot had helped me in making me a Union Minister, if he had ever told his friends that Ashok Gehlot had helped me, I would have accepted it, but he never said so.
