After MPs Abhishek Banerjee and Kalyan Banerjee, now another party leader has become the victim of people’s anger. It is reported that the car of Kamarhati Trinamool MLA Madan Mitra was attacked. During this time people threw eggs on his car. The atmosphere became tense after this attack. Madan Mitra is considered close to TMC chief Mamata Banerjee.
According to the information, a group of local youth protested in Kamarhati on Saturday night and threw eggs on his car. Along with this, the protesters also raised slogans of chor-chor. Although the Trinamool MLA claimed that he was not in the car at that time, it is alleged that the car driver was beaten up.

It is being told that Madan Mitra was in his party office on Saturday evening. Then he got information about disturbance in ward number 14. After which he reached there. During this time he was allegedly attacked by miscreants. Eggs were thrown at his car and slogans of ‘Die Chor Chor’ were also raised. The video of this incident is also going viral on social media.
Madan Mitra’s allegation
Although the MLA claimed that he was not in the car at that time, it is alleged that his driver was assaulted. He says that BJP supported miscreants carried out this incident in a planned manner. Madan Mitra said on Facebook Live that he was not in the car. Madan pointed fingers at Anwar, a BJP worker, for this incident. He claims that this BJP worker named Anwar Khan was earlier a member of Trinamool. He said that Anwar is the biggest killer of Marathi and he is responsible for whatever has happened today.

He alleges that an attempt was made to kill him. He also raised the issue of police inaction on Facebook Live. He said that he will prove who committed this act by making the CCTV footage public. He told, ‘I had gone to the block ward office in Dakshineswar when this incident happened. I saw death very closely. In live, he also alleged that miscreants were surrounding him in Dakshineswar. Slogans of Jai Shri Ram were also raised there. In Facebook Live, he also drew the attention of DG and CP of Barrackpur towards this.
