
Litchi season is the favorite of most people. Litchi has started arriving in the market in the month of June. The maximum production of litchi is in Muzaffarpur, Bihar, whereas ‘Sandesh’ made in Bengal is a traditional sweet which is very much liked all over the country. So let’s give a twist to the taste of Litchi, the most grown litchi in Bihar and the Bengali sweet Sandesh.

Ingredients of Litchi Sandesh
15/20 litchi, 100 grams cream cheese, 1 tablespoon rose syrup, 1 teaspoon cardamom powder, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, chopped pistachios. Now let’s see the recipe.
Litchi Sandesh Recipe
- First of all, wash all the litchi thoroughly and then peel it and keep it in a plate.
- Now with the help of a knife all the seeds of litchi have to be removed. Keep in mind that the litchi has to be hollowed out, but do not cut it apart.
- Now mash the paneer thoroughly in a plate until it becomes smooth so that it feels absolutely light and fluffy.

- Rose syrup, cardamom powder and powdered sugar have to be added to the crushed paneer. Mix it well once again.
- Fill the sandesh mixture in the litchi kept after removing the seeds till the top and also paste a little bit on its upper part as seen in the photo given above.
- Keep filling all the litchi one by one and then roll it in chopped pistachios. The best thing is that there is no need to burn gas to make this sweet.
