Haryana’s ATF team arrested notorious gangster Venkatesh Garg from Delhi Airport on Thursday morning. He has been deported from Georgia to India. Venkatesh Garg has more than 12 criminal cases registered against him in many states. His name also came up in the murder of a BSP leader in Gurugram. He fled to Georgia only after the murder. From there Kapil was working for Sangwan gang.
He was running an extortion racket from Georgia by recruiting shooters through social media. Garg is also accused in several murders. In November 2025, he was caught in Georgia on the input of Indian agencies. Haryana Police had placed a reward of Rs 2 lakh on him. Let us tell you that Venkatesh is a resident of Narayangarh in Ambala district of Haryana.
He is the mastermind behind the murder of BSP leader.
In January last year, gangster Venkatesh Garg had publicly gunned down a BSP leader in Narayangarh area of Ambala. It is said that after committing this murder, he had fled to Georgia by making a fake passport and was running his gang there. In November 2025, he was caught in Georgia on the intelligence information of Indian agencies but he was released.
Garg had shot Harbilas
On January 24, 2025, BSP leader Harbilas Rajjumajra was shot dead. He had contested the Haryana Assembly elections in 2024. But he was defeated in this election. Rajjumajra also ran a banquet hall. He also did farming. On January 24, miscreants fired bullets at him in Narayangarh. He died on the spot.
The miscreants carried out this incident when Rajjumajra was going somewhere by car with his friends. Then the miscreants attacked them. However, two days after the incident, the police encountered a criminal in Mulana but Venkatesh absconded. After this he made a fake passport and fled to Georgia. Now he has been brought to India.
