Prime Minister Narendra Modi has formed a high-powered task force to reform the National Testing Agency (NTA) examination. A group of experts from different fields will help in improving the NTA examination system and especially in structural improvements in technology and systems. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken this big step to improve the examinations conducted by NTA.
Apart from technology expert Nandan Nilekani in this group of experts, other members of the task force include former ISRO chairman S. Somnath, former IB director Tapan Deka, IIT Chennai director V. Kamakoti, former education secretary Anita Karwal and logistics expert Amrit Lal Meena. Nandan Nilekani was the creator of Aadhaar and the main person who brought about India’s digital public infrastructure system.

Praising this decision of Prime Minister Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said in his post on Twitter that the formation of this high-powered task force under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani shows Prime Minister Modi’s unwavering commitment towards strengthening the credibility of the education system and bringing comprehensive reforms in India’s examination system.
Rajnath Singh said that this step will ensure that the future of our students is secure, merit is given importance and every examination is conducted with the highest standards of fairness, transparency and accountability.

What did Prime Minister Modi say in the Insta video?
In a video message posted on his Instagram handle, PM Modi said that the government will implement the suggestions of the task force, which will ensure that the examination system is reliable and transparency can be brought in by making maximum use of technology. This task force will include a group of experts from different fields.
This announcement by Prime Minister Modi came a day after the end of the 36-day-long movement, which was led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). This movement ended with the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan from the post of Education Minister.
Formation of High Power Task Force under the chairmanship of Nilekani
PM Modi said that a high power task force has been formed under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani for examination reforms. He said that the government will work on the suggestions of the task force to ensure an error-free and completely secure examination system. He said that this task force will help in redesigning the examinations of NTA especially from the technology perspective and bringing structural reforms in the examination system.
PM Modi said that the Government of India is continuously taking various steps for the future of the students. He said that those who played with the future of students have been sent to jail and the government is going to introduce a new bill in Parliament on Monday to bring a strict law against exam paper leaks.

He said, but we have to think about the future. To ensure that our examination system is reliable and transparent and technology is used judiciously, we have decided to form a high-powered task force under the chairmanship of Nandan Nilekani, a world-renowned technology expert.
He said that keeping all these aspects in mind, a high powered task force has been formed. He said, this examination will focus on reforms. As soon as we receive the report, we will implement its suggestions to make future examinations credible.
