Supreme Court had decided the place in Bhojshala dispute
After the Supreme Court’s order in the Bhojshala controversy, the administration decided the place for Namaz in Maliwada. The district administration received the certified copy of the Supreme Court order quite late today. After receiving the copy, the administration immediately held a meeting and discussed every point of the order and started the process of implementing it.
The Supreme Court had said in its order that the entry and exit routes of both the sides should be separate, so that there is no face-to-face and peace and law and order are maintained. Under this, instructions were given to provide separate open space for Namaz. The administration inspected several places after the order and assessed the available government land.
According to officials, no suitable land was found within a radius of 300 meters from the Bhojshala premises. After this, the administration has decided to provide land for offering Namaz near Khasra No. 664, 40 Peer, Maliwada. This decision has been taken with the aim of following the order of the Supreme Court and maintaining peace between the two parties.

On the other hand, prayers in the mosque inside Kolkata Airport have been stopped indefinitely. Siddiqullah Chaudhary had called a meeting in the mosque premises to protest against this incident. However, Siddiqullah suddenly canceled the program. Meanwhile, the police is on alert since morning to prevent any kind of disturbance in Bankra area. Section 163 has been imposed in Bankra intersection area.
Controversy has arisen after the order to close the mosque inside the airport. However, Chief Minister Shubhendu Adhikari has already made it clear that the government is not stopping anyone from following their religion in any way. However, national security and airport security should be looked at first. Meanwhile, Siddiqullah Chaudhary strongly opposed the order to close the mosque. In return, he warned of a gathering at the mosque today.

He asked the police whether they would be able to offer Namaz as per the programme. However, the police made it clear that no permission was taken for the gathering. Siddiqullah said that his program has been cancelled. They will offer namaz at another place.
Even after the departure of Siddiqullah Chaudhary, a large number of police forces are deployed in Bankra area. The administration, police and airport authorities have already taken precautionary measures to avoid any kind of disturbance.
