India on Monday launched a sharp attack on Pakistan at the United Nations, saying Islamabad’s terming of groups operating within its borders as ‘Fitna al-Hindustan’ is nothing but an officially sponsored disinformation campaign and propaganda wrapped in religious terminology. He said that it is an old habit of Pakistan to blame its neighbors for its failures. This attempt to mislead the world will fail.
India’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Harish Parvatneni, gave a strong statement against Pakistan during the meeting held on the situation in Afghanistan in the United Nations Security Council (UNSC).
misinformation campaign
Parvataneni hit out at Pakistan, saying it has issued government notifications directing its government agencies to start calling groups operating within its borders as Fitna al-Hindustan, which is nothing but an officially sponsored misinformation campaign and propaganda wrapped in religious terminology.
According to reports circulated by Pakistani media, the Pakistan government last year officially declared all terrorist groups and organizations operating in Balochistan province as Fitna al-Hindustan and alleged without providing any evidence that these organizations are involved in terrorism at the behest of India.

Permanent enmity against India
Parvataneni described this as the result of an organized factory of hatred run by Pakistan’s ruling establishment, which aims to keep its citizens in a state of permanent hostility against India, so as to maintain their hold on power and control over national resources and to divert people’s attention from the main political and economic problems.
mention of constitutional amendment
He said that the actual coup carried out by the army through the 27th Constitutional Amendment is the most recent example of this. The Indian envoy said this while referring to the constitutional amendment passed by the Parliament of Pakistan last year, under which the post of Chief of Defense Forces (CDF) was created. After this, Field Marshal Asim Munir was appointed the first CDF of Pakistan.
Strong condemnation of Pakistan’s military air strikes
In the UNSC meeting, the Indian envoy also strongly condemned Pakistan’s military air strikes against Afghanistan. Parvataneni said that I repeat again. Describing a massacre as a military operation does not absolve the perpetrator of responsibility. Killing civilians, maiming them and orphaning children is not anti-terrorism action.
International law and Islamic solidarity
He said that talking about the high principles of international law and Islamic solidarity while carrying out brutal air strikes during the holy month of Ramadan is the perfect example of hypocrisy. The Indian envoy said that it is an old habit of Pakistan to blame its neighbors for its failures. This attempt to mislead the world will fail.
