
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of NEET UG re-exam. This time 11.21 lakh students have qualified. The most important thing in the NEET UG re-exam is that more than 93 percent of the students who appeared for the exam for the first time have qualified. While 99 percent of these toppers are in the age group of 17 to 19 years.
At the same time, the share of girls among all qualified candidates is more than 58 percent. The qualifying rate of girls is also higher than that of boys. 56.8 percent of the girls who appeared in the examination were declared qualified, while in the case of boys this figure was 55.1 percent. Apart from this, the top 138 ranked candidates are from 66 cities across the country. The top 17 ranked candidates, who have scored more than 705 marks, are from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.
How to view scorecard
Candidates who appeared in the Re-NEET UG 2026 examination on June 21 can check their scorecard by visiting the official website. To check the result, candidates need to log in to the portal using their application number and password. Candidates can check their result by visiting NTA website https://neet.nta.nic.in/.
Fee refund deadline extended
Meanwhile, the agency has extended the deadline for submitting bank account information for fee refund for the May 3 exam till July 31. Candidates who appeared in the examination on May 3 can submit their bank account details through the online facility of NTA to get the refund of the examination fees.
Counseling and NTA advice for candidates
Counseling for All-India Quota in MBBS/BDS is conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). Counseling for state quota is done by the authorities of the respective state. Candidates should rely only on the official websites: http://neet.nta.nic.in, http://mcc.nic.in and state counseling portals.
Candidates are advised to beware of fake calls, messages or websites promising admission, seat blocking or score improvement. NTA does not contact candidates for money or credentials (such as login information). Any suspicious communication can be reported to [email protected] or 011-40759000.
