
NTA has declared the results of NEET UG-2026 re-exam. 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified. More than 58 percent of these are girl students. Aryan Gupta of Punjab and Panshul Bansal of Haryana have topped with a score of 715 out of 720. 19 candidates have scored more than 700 out of 720. 1 thousand 492 candidates have scored more than 650. 10 thousand 160 candidates scored more than 600. National Testing Agency (NTA) had conducted the NEET UG-2026 examination in 13 languages, which was conducted at 5,440 centers in 551 cities of the country and 14 cities abroad. About 20 lakh candidates participated in it. In which 11.21 lakh candidates have qualified for admission in undergraduate medical, dental, AYUSH and related programs.
Most of the best performing candidates are between 17 to 19 years of age. 138 candidates scored more than 690 marks out of 720. Of these, more than 93 percent candidates appeared in NEET (UG) for the first time. The age of 99 percent of the candidates is between 17 to 19 years.

How many students of which state passed the exam?
More than 1.7 lakh students from Uttar Pradesh and 43 students from Lakshadweep have passed the examination. Jigmet Yangchan Lamo of Ladakh has got 530 marks, Dhruv Tripathi of Andaman and Nicobar Islands has got 606 marks and Fahmida Anees of Lakshadweep has got 573 marks. 17 state toppers scored 700 or more marks. 26 scored more than 690 marks.

The top 138 ranked candidates are from 66 cities across the country. The top 17 ranked candidates, who scored more than 705 marks, are from eight states. These include students from Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bihar, Tamil Nadu and Telangana.

In which languages was the exam held?
NEET (UG) 2026 was conducted in 13 languages. This includes Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu and English.

Updates related to the result process
- The provisional answer key was released on 25 June.
- The window for filing objections remained open from 25 to 28 June 2026.
- The scanned OMR answer sheets and recorded answers were shown to the candidates from 13 to 15 July 2026.
- The final answer key and result was released on 16th July.
