
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) will participate in the Farnborough International Airshow to be held in Britain from 20 to 24 July 2026. HAL Chairman and Managing Director Ravi K. Will lead the Indian delegation. HAL will be the nodal agency for the India Pavilion in this airshow. Along with HAL, many Indian defense organizations and defense industry partners will also participate.
During this, the potential of India’s growing aerospace and defense manufacturing sector and indigenous technologies will be showcased.
Representation of the aerospace and defense ecosystem
HAL said it is the nodal agency for the ‘India Pavilion’ and is representing India’s growing aerospace and defense ecosystem in collaboration with other Indian defense organizations and industry partners. HAL will organize high-level business meetings, strategic talks and interactions with customers during the show.
International recognition of the company increased
Chairman Ravi said, HAL has successfully represented India’s aerospace capabilities at the Farnborough International Air Show in the last few years. This has enabled frequent interactions with global OEMs, suppliers, customers and government stakeholders, enhancing the company’s international exposure and promoting strategic business initiatives.
Aim to strengthen the country’s position
He further said that this time HAL will showcase Indian expertise and its willingness to cooperate in developing together. He said that we aim to play a key role in addressing key supply chain challenges as well as advance India’s defense export goals and strengthen the country’s position as a trusted global defense manufacturing hub.
Strategic conversation for business
HAL said it is trying to deepen collaboration with global companies like GE Aerospace, Eaton Aerospace, Honeywell, Safran, Martin-Baker (UK) and MBDA during the show. This cooperation will be for strategic dialogue and potential collaboration for future business in the areas of aircraft systems, aero engines, avionics, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) as well as high-technology manufacturing.
