
A shooting took place near the Cold West End Festival in the city of Toledo in the US state of Ohio on Saturday. Here unknown attackers opened fire in which many people were injured. Toledo Police received information about firing near the festival grounds, after which the police reached the spot. All the people injured in this attack were admitted to the nearby hospital. The video of the incident is going viral on social media, in which people are seen running here and there in chaos. As soon as the bullet was fired, the entire area went into panic.
At present, the Toledo Police has started an investigation, but no arrests have been made yet. Police have started searching for the suspects. No information has been given yet regarding anyone’s identity or arrest. The reason behind the incident is also not clear yet.
Officials expressed concern over the incident
Ohio Governor Mike DeWine and Toledo City Council member Theresa Morris both expressed deep concern over the violence. Governor DeWine said that I am very concerned about the situation in Toledo tonight. “Summer festivals should be safe places for families to spend time together without fear of violence.”
