South and Bollywood film actor Prakash Raj wrote – This world is seeing a government which does not want to have any talks with the youth but knows how to behave like dictators. Taking Wangchuk by force and hindering the peaceful protest of students is a sign of cowardice. it is a shame.

Singer and musician Vishal Dadlani shared the video on this and while reacting said – Have you ever seen such cowardice? Sonam ji has been forcibly taken away. What these people are doing to this country is breaking my heart. When will my countrymen wake up? If you don’t wake up now, when will you wake up? I don’t know what to say on this. I wish I was at that place and could help them. At this moment I am bursting with anger.
Sonam Wangchuk Talking about him, he has been sitting on hunger strike at Jantar Mantar in Delhi since 28th June 2026. He has come to Delhi from Ladakh in support of the Cockroach Janata Party which is demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. At present he is admitted in Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi and is under the supervision of doctors.
