Dr. Mohan Government of Madhya Pradesh has decided to launch ‘Jan Vishwas Abhiyan’ to ensure prompt resolution of public problems and effective implementation of government schemes. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, this campaign will start in the entire state from August 7 and will be conducted every Friday. Under the campaign, ministers, public representatives and administrative officials will reach villages and urban wards and directly communicate with the general public, listen to their problems and review the ground implementation of government schemes. Its objective is to bring governance closer to the people and strengthen administrative accountability and transparency.

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav According to the decision taken in the Cabinet meeting held on Tuesday under the chairmanship of Shri Narendra Modi, now regular big meetings will not be held at the Ministry, District and Division level every Friday. Instead, ministers, public representatives and officials will go to their respective areas and communicate directly with the people. During the campaign, the progress of the schemes of various departments will also be reviewed, so that the benefits of the schemes can reach the eligible beneficiaries on time.

Problems will be solved on the spot

The main objective of Jan Vishwas Abhiyan is to strengthen the trust between the government and the public with quick redressal of public complaints. Officials will reach rural and urban areas and listen to people’s problems and, wherever possible, solve them. In cases where immediate resolution is not possible, their timely resolution will be ensured.

Important initiative towards good governance

Giving information about the decisions of the Cabinet, Public Works Minister Rakesh Singh said that the Public Trust Campaign is an important step towards good governance. This will increase direct communication between the government and the public and bring transparency in the implementation of schemes. He told that the ministers will start the campaign from the districts under their charge.

Action on corruption and negligence

If corruption, irregularity or negligence comes to light at any level during the campaign, strict action will be taken against the concerned officers and employees. The basic mantra of the campaign will be dialogue, solution, sensitivity and simplicity. No additional budget provision has been made for this and unnecessary frills will also be avoided.

The government has appealed to the people of the state to take advantage of this campaign and present their problems, complaints and suggestions directly to the officials and public representatives. The government believes that by directly reaching out to the public, the administration will speed up the resolution of complaints, there will be effective monitoring of schemes and the governance system will become more transparent and accountable.

Public welfare initiatives will get new strength

Madhya Pradesh government has already been trying to reach the benefits of government schemes to the last person through public welfare camps and various public relations programs. The public trust campaign is being considered as another important step in this direction. The government believes that this initiative will not only ensure effective implementation of the schemes, but will also strengthen the relationship of trust between the government and the public.
