Congress is furious after the nomination of candidate Meenakshi Natarajan was canceled amid Rajya Sabha elections in Madhya Pradesh. MP Congress State President Jitu Patwari has accused BJP of seat robbery. Talking to the media, Patwari said that just a few days ago, BJP had pretended regarding women’s reservation.
Jeetu Patwari said that Meenakshi Natarajan’s nomination was canceled politically. Because he could not cancel the nomination legally, he chose this path. MP was tarnished by this action of the government. This fight is to save the democracy of the country. Because BJP’s act of killing democracy has once again given evidence of misuse of constitutional institutions! We will fight this battle of truth and justice on a level playing field and will win at any cost!
Jitu Patwari further said that tomorrow i.e. Wednesday, all the Congress MLAs will sit on a hunger strike against the Election Commission regarding this entire incident.
Why so much formality, declare BJP’s seat
Lawyer Ajay Gupta said that this is completely unconstitutional. This is a hooligan order. A notice was issued to Meenakshi ji from the Hyderabad court. This was not told by him. But in our reply we had written to him this. This does not fall in the criminal category.
He further said that I claim that if you ask even a first year law student, he will tell you that this does not fall in the category of crime. But the returning officer did not listen to anything. This kind of bullying was seen by the Returning Officer in the Assembly. Why so much formality is being done, just declare the seat for BJP from Delhi itself.
BJP is killing democracy and constitution
Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and senior Congress leader Kamal Nath has reacted to the cancellation of Meenakshi Natarajan’s nomination. He said that the cancellation of nomination of Congress’s Rajya Sabha candidate from Madhya Pradesh, sister Meenakshi Natarajan, is completely unconstitutional and undemocratic. This development shows that the Bharatiya Janata Party is killing democracy and the Constitution in the country. Congress party will fight against injustice at every level.
Does the Election Commission even exist or not?
Congress MLA Harish Chaudhary has attacked the Election Commission over the cancellation of nomination of Meenakshi Natarajan. He asked whether the Election Commission even exists or not? Has any legal notice ever been issued against all the elected MPs in the country? This is a kind of dictatorship of the government.
