BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh recently defended Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak controversy. Brij Bhushan asked whether anyone can guarantee that papers will not be leaked in future just because of the resignation of the Education Minister? He appealed to everyone to have some patience and assured that eventually everything will be fine.
He said that a special system works behind paper leaks. Officers and employees are involved in this, but a minister cannot personally monitor every place. He stressed that action has already been taken against some senior officials. He said that until such officers are punished, the system cannot be fixed. He expressed hope that the government will take strict steps to end the system that promotes these leaks.
Singh, who returned to his home in Gonda after spending some time in Delhi, said he was busy dealing with the disturbance created by women wrestlers in the capital. Meanwhile, targeting Rahul Gandhi, he said that as long as Rahul Gandhi remains the leader of the Congress Party, there is no threat to the BJP.
Rahul Gandhi lacks seriousness
Brij Bhushan said that no one takes Rahul Gandhi seriously and called it the misfortune of the country that he is leading the Congress. He argued that as long as Gandhi continues to make irresponsible statements, use foul language and does not work seriously, there will be no challenge to BJP. He said that Gandhi does only what the party wants.
Subhendu government of Bengal will have to give time
On the Subhendu government of Bengal, he said that the performance of any government cannot be assessed in just 10 or 20 days. He has to give time. He said that during the time of Mamata government, the atmosphere is the same as it was during the time of Congress and Jyoti Basu. A situation where a particular section of the society has been continuously oppressed. BJP leader Amit Shah deserves praise for doing the almost impossible task.
Their leaders were also fed up with Mamata
Brij Bhushan said that the current exodus of leaders is proof of how troubled the people were. Leave aside the general public, even the leaders within the Mamata government were fed up. Referring to a quatrain of Tulsidas, Brijbhushan Sharan Singh said that there is a section of the society which has been continuously suppressed since independence.
