
Maulana Tauqeer Raza Khan has suffered a big shock. In the case registered in Baradari police station regarding Bareilly violence, Tauqeer had approached the Allahabad High Court for bail, where the single bench of Justice Arun Kumar Singh Deshwal has rejected the bail application. Maulana Tauqeer Raza, head of Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) and mastermind of Bareilly violence, will have to remain in jail for the time being.
There was violence in Bareilly on 26 September 2025. On the same day, the police had registered an FIR in Baradari, Kotwali, Cantt, Kila and Prem Nagar police stations of Bareilly, in which Tauqeer Raza was described as the mastermind. After this Tauqeer filed a bail petition in Bareilly Court which was rejected. Then he filed a bail application in Allahabad High Court.
What is the whole matter?
In fact, people gathered in Bareilly on the call of Maulana Tauqeer Raza had raised slogans on the issue of I Love Mohammad. Despite the strictness of the police and administration, people took to the streets and demonstrated. Not only this, they broke the police barricades. Then the police lathicharged. This increased anger among the people. When people ran around and beat them, a stampede broke out.
