After his nomination, Bharatiya Janata Party had raised objection. According to the information, Natarajan had hidden the information about the case registered against him in Telangana in his nomination, on the basis of which his nomination has been cancelled. After the cancellation of nominations, BJP’s claim on all three Rajya Sabha seats in the state has become stronger and all three of its candidates are likely to be elected unopposed.
