Bhooth Bangla OTT Release Date: Akshay Kumar and Vamika Gabbi’s film ‘Bhoot Bangla’ did well at the box office. This film was released in theaters on 17 April. Now the makers are going to release this film on OTT. ‘Bhoot Bangla’ will be released on OTT platform Netflix on June 12, 2026. Directed by Priyadarshan, this film was liked very much by the audience and it earned a bumper amount of around Rs 270 crore worldwide.
‘ghost bungalow‘ received a mixed response from critics. But Akshay Kumar Fans liked the film very much. Many previous films of the horror-comedy genre have been hits. Same thing happened with ‘Bhoot Bangla’. According to Sacknilk, the film earned Rs 181.75 crore at the domestic box office. At the same time, its worldwide earning was Rs 269.02 crore. Being a horror-comedy family entertainer, it is believed that this film will get a good response on Netflix also.
Akshay got a hit after 8 films
Akshay Kumar makes two to three films every year. He is famous for the fact that he completes a film in just two-three months. But even after doing many films in the last few years, he was not getting a hit. Before Bhoot Bangla, only Akshay’s ‘OMG 2’ released in the year 2023 was able to earn as per expectations and was a super hit. After this he did many films from Mission Raniganj to Jolly LLB 2, but none of his films were a hit. However, returning with Priyadarshan after years proved lucky for him and ‘Bhoot Bangla’ took off.

Apart from Akshay Kumar and Vamika Gabbi, actors like Tabu, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Jissu Sengupta, Asrani, Manoj Joshi, Mithila Palkar and Rajesh Sharma were seen in important roles in ‘Bhoot Bangla’. The film has been produced by Akshay Kumar, Ekta Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor. The budget of the film is said to be between Rs 120-150 crore.
