
Yogi Adityanath government is continuously taking new steps regarding social, economic and health related empowerment of women. In this sequence, the Yogi government has taken a big step towards connecting the women affected by serious social tragedies like triple talaq and acid attack into the mainstream and providing them a respectable life.
yogi government Preparations are being made to benefit these victimized women through Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Chief Minister Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana and Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. Along with this, preparations have been started to provide benefits of all these schemes to destitute women also.
Data being collected from many departments
The process of preparing necessary guidelines and government orders (GO) for this is also going on at the government level. Verified details of the victimized women are being collected by the Women Welfare Department. On the basis of this, beneficiaries will be identified and linked to various schemes. The aim of the Yogi government is that no eligible woman should be deprived of government schemes merely due to lack of information or procedural complications. For this, coordination is being established between departments.
Instructions were given to officials in the meeting
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had instructed the officials in a high-level meeting that women who have faced situations like triple talaq or acid attack and who do not have permanent residence, should be provided permanent houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Chief Minister Awas Yojana. Along with this, these women and their families should also be provided the benefit of quality health services by linking them with Ayushman Bharat Yojana and Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana.
It is known that women suffering from acid attacks require long-term treatment, surgery and rehabilitation. At the same time, many women affected by triple talaq face economic and social insecurity. In such a situation, the Yogi government is working towards making their lives more safe and respectable by providing both housing and health security.
