Dharmendra Reaction On Batwara 1947: The grand trailer launch of Sunny Deol’s much-awaited film ‘Bantwara 1947’, made under the banner of Aamir Khan Productions, took place with much fanfare in Mumbai. On this special occasion, Sunny Deol was present along with his son Karan Deol, Abhimanyu Singh, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and the film’s director Rajkumar Santoshi himself. During the event, when Bollywood’s legendary actor and Sunny Deol’s father Dharmendra was remembered, the atmosphere became completely emotional. Director Rajkumar Santoshi shared some such heart touching things related to Dharmendra ji, hearing which Sunny Deol could not control his emotions and tears welled up in his eyes on the stage itself.

Rajkumar Santoshi Told that the last film Dharmendra ji saw before saying goodbye to the world in November 2025 was ‘Partition 1947’. During the trailer launch, director Rajkumar Santoshi, while reminiscing about Dharmendra ji, said that when he narrated the story (narration) of this film to Dharmendra ji, he became very emotional. Rajkumar Santoshi further said emotionally, “Dharam ji’s blessings are very big for this film. When he heard the narration, he became very emotional. He had tears in his eyes and he gave a lot of blessings to the entire team. I think the last film that Dharam ji saw before his death was ‘Partition 1947’. After watching the film, he told me, ‘Raj, this picture will do well, you guys have done a very good job.’ Today I thank Dharam ji wholeheartedly.” Standing on the stage, when Santoshi was telling these things about his father’s last days, then someone standing nearby sunny deol He was completely broken and tears welled up in his eyes.
