In Ludhiana, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has given a big gift to the education sector amid heavy rains. Despite bad weather, the Chief Minister reached the Government Primary School, Lohara, where he formally inaugurated the newly constructed Vardhaman Block. Suddenly the weather pattern changed in Ludhiana and it started raining heavily. Despite this the program was not cancelled.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann Reached the venue at the scheduled time. There was tremendous enthusiasm among the local people, teachers and school children in this inauguration ceremony which took place amidst heavy rain.
Committed to providing better facilities
On this occasion, the Chief Minister said that the Punjab Government is continuously making efforts to strengthen the infrastructure of the education system. This event gives a clear message that the government is fully committed to the development of schools and providing better facilities to the students.

Due to rain, Ludhiana Police and district administration had to work extra hard to manage the arrangements of the program. Heavy police force was deployed at the venue for security. At the same time, the traffic police made special arrangements to ensure smooth movement of the Chief Minister’s convoy and the general public amid heavy rain.
Chief Minister inspected the school
After the inauguration, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inspected the school premises in the presence of top officials of the education department and local MLAs. This initiative is part of the campaign of the Punjab Government under which the government schools of the state are being developed on the lines of reputed schools by equipping them with modern facilities.
