What could be Annamalai’s future plan?
The former IPS officer had planned to leave the party several months ago. According to sources close to Annamalai, there has been a big change in the politics of Tamil Nadu after the emergence of actor Vijay as a political force. Sources also said that Annamalai is considering starting a mass movement and there is speculation that it may later turn into a political party.
However, amid speculations about Annamalai forming her own political party, he had said that the situation would soon become clear. While talking to journalists before coming to Delhi, he said that please wait. We will sit and talk in two days. He also said that he will soon answer all the questions and clarify his position. Political experts believe that due to his aggressive political style, his relations with AIADMK, BJP’s former ally in the state, had become strained.
