
Karkardooma Court will pronounce its verdict on the punishment in IB officer Ankit Sharma murder case on July 31. Karkardooma Court reserved its verdict on the punishment of 5 including former councilor Tahir Hussain. Delhi Police has sought death sentence for the five culprits. During the hearing, Delhi Police said that the convicts had become animals, even after death, Ankit Sharma was attacked with sharp weapons, while Tahir Hussain’s lawyers opposed the demand for death penalty.
After completing the arguments of Tahir Hussain’s lawyer, Delhi Police said that whoever is part of a violent mob is responsible for all crimes, Tahir Hussain should have saved Ankit Sharma instead of being a part of the mob.
